The Outlook Mobile Notifier detects you are away from your computer and sends
you reminders of your Microsoft Outlook meetings and tasks to your email-enabled
pager or mobile device. This utility works with
your Microsoft Outlook notification events. Once you set it up, you can
minimize it and it will go to your system tray and will inform you via e-mail
about any meeting or task reminders that you may have previously set up. To set it up, just enter
the subject and body of the message you want to receive via email to the
address indicated in the “E-mail to notify” field. If you have a text-based email-enabled
pager/beeper or mobile device, you can put its email address instead and be
notified in real-time. You can limit the number
of characters in the message if you are charged by number of characters by your
service provider. You can use the following syntax: <body:xx>, where xx
is the maximum number of characters. You can also use <body> to send
all the characters in the original body of the meeting or task. You also have to option to
indicate being notified if you are inactive (no mouse movements) for more
than xx minutes. In that way, you can limit the number of notifications you
receive. The tool can be configured
to start automatically every time your system is booted up and it will
remember the last settings you made. Minimum Requirements: -
